How much oil can be extracted from 1ton groundnuts is depend on what method you use to extract groundnut oil. Typically, there are two methods which can be used to extract groundnut oil: pressing method and pre-press & solvent extraction method. They are chosen based on the daily capacity of groundnuts. If you want to extract groundnut oil from 1ton groundnuts, you can use pressing method because of the less raw material. The oil content of groundnuts is about 50%, and the residual oil rate of pressing method is about 7%, so you can obtain 1ton*(50-7)%=430kg groundnut oil.

If use pressing method, you can get 70tons*(50-7)%=30.1tons groundnut oil, and the residual groundnut oil is about 4.9tons.

The residual oil rate of pre-press & solvent extraction method is about 15%. If use this method, you can obtain 70tons*(50-15)%=24.5tons groundnut oil in the pre-press plant. And in the solvent extraction plant, you can get 70 tons*14%=9.8tons groundnut oil. Then you can totally get 24.5+9.8=34.3tons groundnut oil. It is worth noting that the residual oil rate of solvent extraction method is less than 1%, so the residual groundnut oil is only 0.7tons.
