How to Solve These Challenges with the Right Cottonseed Oil Processing Machine?

Stage 1: Cottonseed Pretreatment (Cleaning, Shelling & Flaking)

For Hard Hulls: After cleaning, the cottonseed enters the cracking section, where the hull is gently broken to separate the kernel from the shell. A drum hull sieve is commonly used for kernel and hull separation after cracking in our cottonseed oil processing plant. However, complete hull removal is usually not recommended. Many producers retain about 5%–8% hull content in the kernel material because a small amount of hull can help increase pressure inside the screw oil press and improve oil extraction performance.
