The palm oil physical refinery process mainly includes phosphoric acid degumming, bleaching earth treatment, vacuum filtration and high-temperature deodorization. During deodorization, free fatty acids (FFA) and unwanted odors are removed through steam distillation under high vacuum conditions, without alkali neutralization or soapstock generation.

Compared with traditional chemical refining methods, physical refining technology offers higher oil yield, reduced chemical consumption, lower wastewater generation and better recovery of valuable by-products such as palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD).

After refining, the palm oil can be further processed through fractionation equipment to produce palm olein and palm stearin, which are widely used in cooking oil, food manufacturing and other industries.
